This page is designed to illustrate our version of a proper planting pit for the phoenix canariensis palm tree. The photos here depict a temporary storage pit however, the basic concept is the same for a permanent planting pit. The main difference is that the tree will be planted at grown level instead of being elevated above the grade of the ground. Our methods are proven to greatly improve the mortality rate of transplanted phoenix canariensis palm trees.
