Canary Island Date Palm 

The Phoenix Canariensis originated in the Canary Islands thus explaining the palm tree's common name "Canary Island Date Palm". Since it's introduction to the United States, among other countries, it has become one of the most desired of all ornamental palm trees. If you have ever stood under the sprawling canopy of one of these majestic beauties you will no doubt understand it's allure.
